The 7th Zodical extension from 80.00 to 93.20 degree is called Punarvasu Nakshatra; corresponding to ‘Adh-Dhira’ (the paw of lion) of the Arab Manzil; ‘Geminorium’ of the Greeks; ‘Tsing’ of the Chinese Sieu. According to Surya Siddhanta ‘Punar’ means ‘Again’ and ‘Vasu’ means ‘Good/Brilliant’.
The presiding deity of the Punarvasu Nakshatra is the Aditi, the daughter of the Daksha and mother of the Gods. She is considered as the personification of INFINITY.
According to Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Shri Ram was born on Chitra Shukla 9, in the 4th part of Punarvasu Nakshatra.
1. General Results of Being Born in Punarvasu Nakshatra:-
A. Male Natives –
i) Physical Features: Handsome, long thighs and long face. Some identification mark on the face or on the back side of the head.
ii) Character and General Events: The native has complete faith in God. He is also religiously inclined. Though initially he will have good behaviour but later according to circumstantial affects he can also change his behaviour. It is very difficult to know his inner thoughts. He is hot tempered and alongside sticks to ancient traditions and believes. He will lead a simple life and also tend to distract others from doing wrong and illegal activities in life.
iii) Education, Sources of Earning/Profession: He can attain much name and fame as a teacher or as an actor, writer, physician etc. Period upto 32 years will not be so good. He will not be successful in partnership business and should also not involve in any type of business till the age of 32.
